Once a scout, always a scout!

The Union of Former Scouts and Guides of Haiti (UFASEGHA) is a community of dedicated men and women united by the timeless values of Scouting. Founded in 1997, we bring together former Scouts and Guides committed to their duty to God, service to their country, and helping others.

Scouting is not just a childhood experience—it’s a lifelong commitment to brotherhood, service, and personal growth. We use our experiences to empower young people and strengthen communities, ensuring that the principles of Scouting continue to inspire future generations.

Based in Florida, we focus on supporting local communities while also extending our efforts globally, particularly in Haiti. Through mentorship, leadership training, and community-driven initiatives, we strive to inspire positive transformation and contribute to a better future for all.

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy is grounded in the globally recognized values of Scouting:
the Scout Law, the Scout Principles, the Scout Promise, etc.

We Maintain the Scouting Spirit

“Once a Scout, always a Scout!” That is our motto. We continue to live by the values and principles of scouting in everyday life and service. Through fellowship, we strive to keep ourselves physically strong, mentally alert, and morally upright as per our promise.

We Engage in our Local Communities

What is a scout without practical deeds that benefit those around them? We take an active role in our communities by offering support and service wherever it is most needed.

We Support our Alma Mater

As former scouts who grew up in Haiti, we make it our duty to assist our country, especially by contributing to the development and continuity of the scouting movement in our home communities.

We Cooperate Globally

We collaborate with international scouting communities to strengthen unity, encourage shared learning, and build lasting partnerships that foster global solidarity.
